When several instruments and timeframes need to be on screen together, a Windows 10 or 11 machine is the answer: MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 both install there, keep their layouts between sessions and give a keyboard and mouse instead of a small pane of glass.

When a phone stops being enough: the Windows platform
The difference is working space rather than capability. On a desktop, price history is easier to scroll back through, several charts sit beside each other, and trend lines and levels land where the mouse puts them. Templates and indicator setups are saved once and reopened later instead of being rebuilt from memory every time.
A desktop can also stay switched on. With Ethiopia at UTC+3, London opening in the late morning and New York in the afternoon, a machine already running through those hours shows a current chart the moment somebody sits down, without waking a phone and finding the symbol again.
Installation is one download and a sign-in with the same account details used on mobile; the account is not tied to either device. Where the computer is shared and new software cannot be added to it, the browser platform reaches the same account without an installer.
How Exness runs on a Windows PC
On a desktop PC, Exness runs through the MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4 Windows terminals, which install on Windows 10 and Windows 11. The download links are in the Exness account area once you have signed in.
Desktop app or web on the PC
If you would rather not install a desktop app, the Exness Terminal runs in any browser on the PC with nothing to download. MetaTrader gives more advanced charting and automated trading; the web terminal starts without an install.
